About Shimon Zrihan

Shimon Zrihan was born in 1956 in Zefat, Israel. Even as a child, he spent his leisure time in the Galleries in Zefat and was inspired by art from sculptures and painters of 60s and 70s. He dreamed of one day owning his own Gallery.

He began to paint & sculpt in clay, stone & wood. He acquired an artistic education at the "Abba Hooshi" in Haifa, returned to Zefat and taught sculpture for 5 years.

Simultaneously, he studied at Tel-Aviv University to become a dental technician, and opened a Dental Clinic. Throughout this time, he never abandoned what he truly dreamed of and loved, and he continued to create works of art.

Today, Shimon Zrihan owns a Gallery and Studio in Zefat. He is a member of the Israeli Artists Association and a member of the Zefat Artists Association.

His works are displayed at the Museum "General Exhibition" in Zefat and in various exhibitions.

Shimon Zrihan's guiding principle is a combination of all styles: surreal, realistic, and cubist - and each style can appear in one creation. All the creations are the artist's imagination which are expressed in a clean and unique way and are very meaningful.
